Time when there is tremendous rise in the incidents of rapes

Time when our leaders are not doing enough to move out the Chinese troops from our territory

Time when you feel suffocating finding many of your leaders hopeless

Time when news about corruption and corrupts are dominating the front pages of newspapers

Time when corruption is much talk about and leaders are working hard to prove who is most corrupt

Time when many corrupts are still enjoying much power

Time when scams shattered the faith of common man badly

Time when reforms are seen no where

Time when loot of common man is at large scale

Time when protectors the so called politicians are turnedout to be cause of pain and apathy of common man

Terror of two words ….SHO SAHIB……..India got Independence in 1947……but still one thing which seems to be have not changed much….. is terror of police among the people…the people still using the terminology of Sahib…SHO SAHIB……There is urgent need of much police and social reform in Haryana……..

See the height of terror surfaced on April 24 when reporter asked Mohan that who is responsible for the death of his four family members and why they all five i ncluding him had consumed poison on April 22…..the first thing Mohan utter was “SHO SAHIB”….Mohan alleged that the police compelled him and other family members to consume poison to end their lives…..

But shocking is  …..Despite the fact that his four members have died and he just got conscious….he never forget to use SAHIB with SHO………..such is the terror is still persist among people. There is need of much social and police reform.. the people still deprived of basic rights and amenities in rural areas..

Mohan is now lone survivor in the family… a poor Dalit belong to Bhairi Akbarpur, in Hisar. It was alleged that Mohan’s eldest daughter was raped in May last year and then went missing in July. The factors which said to be have led to the family took extreme steps include the extreme pressure from the police to produce her daughter, abject poverty, rape and disappearance of his eldest daughter. Mohan's elder daughter is still untraceable.

  

The incident took place on April 22 when Mohan who belongs to Dalit family along with four other family members had consumed Celphos. Mohan’s wife (38), a sister (13) had died on the day the family consumed Celphos, while his son Amit (9), the youngest member died on April 23, while 11 year old another son died on April 24.

Delhi Police Chief refuses to Quit ……then who will take the responsibility of brutal rapes……Delhi police chief seems to have followed the footsteps of political leaders who have become pro active in making statements such as they are the true custodian of the society, but actually doing nothing concrete… Just making long statements in the Parliament actually serve no purpose ….. leaders have to think beyond the Parliament…. There is no doubt parliament is supreme…but the leaders have to move out to meet the protesters. The leaders have to understand …many of them were also student leaders and they too have been part of many agitations…… solution lies in proper constructive dialogue and result oriented work….. Democracy is important… people are demanding constructive solution to prevent the brutal rapes …which requires over all change in the system…right from providing basic amenities to all the section of the society .. proper education for all… free education and food to poor…police reform, reforms in the judiciary and reform in political system and also reforms among the advocates and also journalists……Many of the people are feeling suffocating due failure of system on various fronts…. Only constructive action will provide justice…We hope that system will improve 

Shame again……..a five year old girl again raped in Delhi

Shame……..Nothing much seems to be changed so far despite the massive protest by the people across the nation against the brutal gang rape of a 23 year old girl in Delhi last year. A five year old girl was brutally raped.. a young girl slapped by the ACP inside the hospital when she was protesting against the brutal rape of a five-year-old girl. This is not at all, the chairperson of the national women commission Mamta Sharma could not find time to meet the victim girl today due to holiday. However later the ACP was placed under suspension. But such incidents are  showing that there is urgent need of the police reforms, the police officials should know how to deal with the public when they are fighting for the genuine cause.

Besides it, the chairperson of women commission has to act in a responsible manner. The commission chairperson should not be politically appointee however there has to be certain criteria so that the persons holding such important post’s should act fast. As mostly the chairpersons of the various commissions are considered to be political posts. There were series of recommendation by the Justice Verma Committee for reforms and stringent laws to deal with such cases.  Later this March Parliament had approved on this March a tougher new law to punish sex crimes, including death for repeat rape offenders. The anti rape law is seen as a crucial step towards curbing rising cases of violence against women. However the much needs to be done to change the mindset of the people who are committing crime, police officials, judiciary advocates and also journalists dealing with such cases.

                पानी की एक बूंद

      

               पानी की एक बूंद से सागर तक

                 

                 नदी के एक छोर से दुसरे छोर तक 

                  प्यास है की बुझती नहीं 

                 है पानी की जरुरत पर मिलता नहीं 

                 कहते हैं की कभी जमीन से भी पानी निकालता था 

                

                कभी टयूबवेल के पानी  से सीचे जाते थे खेत    

                  

                 अब है की जमीन से पानी निकलता ही  नहीं  

                  

                  कभी नदियों और नेहरों में पानी बहता था 

                  

                 सुना है कभी गाबों में तलाब भी होते थे 

                 

                  सुना है चंडीगढ में कभी  एक लेक होती थी  

                 जहाँ टहलते थे  लोग सुबह और शाम    

                 और  कभी माइग्रेटरी बर्ड्स भी आया करते थे 

                  

                  सतलुज और यमुना के वेटलैंड एरियाज में  

                  और  कभी आते थे हजारों की संख्या में माइग्रेटरी बर्ड्स 

                 हरिकेपत्तन बर्ड्स सन्चुरी में भी  

                   अब है की जमीन से पानी निकलता ही नहीं  

                 

 Save water....  save ground water, lakes, rivers,  canals, wetland areas

otherwise I feel people will have to face the same situation after 20 years down the line.
